If a boy trusts somebody who in turn hurts him, he can all the time protect himself physically. Little girls don?t have that physical force. So men, when you ask the woman of your choice to simply ?trust you,? it is not that she can’t, it is just that she is more exposed than you are. If you want her to trust you, she needs something that will assist her grow that trust.

Perhaps even a gesture that she can ?count on? until her faith in you is established. Fortunately this means already exists and is known by every woman. What grows faith in a woman is a man who consistently keeps his word. To her, making a promise is worthless if there is no follow-through.

A woman needs to SEE her man fulfill his promises ? not just hear his assurance without deed.

Allow me to illustrate. Imagine someone told you that I was the selfish individual they had ever met. For months, all you heard was how horrible I treated my relatives and associates.

Then one day you meet me, and during the course of our meeting, you start to notice that I do not seem to be as horrible as you have been led to believe. I in fact appear to be quite pleasant.

Would you change your entire opinion about me on or after just one visit? Possibly not! Nonetheless, if you saw me take action every time with compassion and humility over a course of several weeks, your view of me would begin to change.

A paradox has just been established in understanding men. The kindness you have seen in me for the last few weeks does not match what you have heard regarding me. All the gossips of how mean I am start to diminish into shadows because of my consistent actions.

Over time, what you notice will replace most, if not all, of your concerns regarding my character.

Men, when the woman you adore sees your words lining up with your actions, trust will naturally follow. When you don?t honor your word, it makes your spouse or girlfriend to become anxious. From her point of view, she has entrusted you with her feeling and WANTS to depend on you. She just wants you to help her trust so she can provide you what you yearn for.
